It is pertinent to mention here that PU has refused to renew Rupinder's contract and in an affidavit he has alleged that Gurmeet asked him to pay Rs 5 lakh in exchange of getting a permanent appointment.

The affidavit, which was filed two months ago, Rupinder besides making some wild allegations also states that Gurmeet not only used foul language, but also threatened to physically harm him.The coach also alleges that Gurmeet, while asking for bribe, also told him that he also had to shell out a huge amount for his post.

Responding to the allegations, Gurmeet said that some of the charges against him are so demeaning that he doesn't want to react to them but added that he is strongly thinking of launching legal proceedings against Rupinder.
