Epidemiologist Dr Upasana said, "Both the patients have been tested positive for swine flu and are already under treatment at PGI Chandigarh." "I talked to their family members and they told me that they have been kept in the isolation ward," she said adding, "However, their family members were found to have no symptoms of the virus."

However, chief medical officer (CMO) Subodh Gupta said that he was not aware of the swine flu patients in the district as he was out of the town.
