Miffed up over the apathetic approach of the police in taking action against her in-laws in the dowry harassment case, she said if the police did not arrested all accused within given time, she would initiate fast unto death outside police commissioner's office.

The woman alleged that the Sarabha Nagar police had been deliberately delaying the arrest of accused, so that they could get bail from the court.

Harjinder Kaur claimed that she had got support of several social organisations and NGOs.

She said the police had arrested only her mother-in-law Harjeet Kaur, while rest of the accused including her husband Gurmeet Singh Manchanda, father-in-law Tarlok Singh Manchanda and sister-in-law Jaspreet Kaur were at large.

Inspector Amrinder Singh, station house officer (SHO), Sarabha Nagar police station, said the police have launched a manhunt for the arrest of the accused.
