Actor Jayam Ravi on Wednesday said his trip to Cannes Film Festival is a dream come true moment. His upcoming multi-lingual historic film, Sanghamitra will be launched at the prestigious festival.
The lead cast along with the makers of the film left for Cannes on Tuesday night.
“Off to Cannes for the launch of Sanghamitra. A dream come true,” Ravi tweeted on Wednesday.
The 70th edition of the festival kicks off on Wednesday. It will go on till May 28.
The title of Sanghamitra, which will be directed by Sundar C, will be unveiled at the festival.
The makers had said in a statement that the film will be made in two parts and will also star Arya and Shruti Haasan.
Produced by Sri Thenandal Films, the project will be made in Tamil, Telugu and will be dubbed in Hindi.
