We don't know yet if director does it unconsciously or his foot-in-the-mouth disease is a veiled attempt to being in the news, and therefore relevant. After making some sick comments on Hindu god in August 2014, and then courting trouble with actor Sridevi by changing the name of his new (and rather sensational) film Savitri to Sridevi, the Satya director has now trained his guns at veteran Malayalam actor Mammotty. He has declared that Mammootty should learn acting from his son Dulquer Salman!

Mammootty is a leading actor and producer working chiefly in Malayalam films. (Mammootty/Facebook)
In a series of tweets after watching Mani Ratnam’s new film OK Kanmani, he gushed over actor Dulquer’s talent. And then he said the unthinkable. "Mamooty should learn acting from his son.. I mean realistic."
If that wasn’t enough, the Company director went on to add that Mammootty, winner of three National Awards for acting, was like a junior artiste compared to his son. “Mamooty is a junior artiste compared to his son.”
