Iddarammayilatho features Allu Arjun in the lead role. Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu romantic-thriller Iddarammayilatho has raked in Rs 8.01 crore on first day in Andhra Pradesh.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film released worldwide on May 31. "The film approximately collected a net share of Rs 8.01 crore in Andhra Pradesh on release day. It has also managed to do good business in rest of the country," Trade analyst Trinath told IANS.

Reportedly made on a budget of Rs 40 crore, Iddarammayilatho also features Catherine Tresa, Amala Paul, Brahmanadam, Nassar, Kaajal Vashisht, Subbaraju and Ali in important roles. Produced by Bandla Ganesh, the film is the second collaboration between Puri and Arjun after Telugu blockbuster Desamuduru.
