In a rare instance, Pawan Kalyan graces the launch of Jr NTR’s next

The only reason why Pawan Kalyan agreed to grace the Jr NTR’s film launch function, which took place at the specially erected set in Hyderabad on Monday, is because of director Trivikram, a common link between the two.

It is very rare that two big stars come together to promote each other’s films in Telugu film industry. In a departure from the norm, superstar politician Pawan Kalyan graced the launch function of Junior NTR’s next film on Monday in Hyderabad, reports Times of India.

Director Trivikram has a project each with Pawan Kalyan and Jr NTR.

Pawan Kalyan was the chief guest at the function. The reason why this had been possible is the proximity of Pawan Kalyan to the NTR film’s director Trivikram. The duo is currently working on an untitled film together.

The launch of Jr NTR’s next, tentatively called #NTR28 took place on October 23 at 11 am. A small pooja was conducted at the set, which was decorated with yellow and green flowers and leaves. A floral Ganesha too had been set up.

A lot is riding on Pawan Kalyan-Trivikram film as the actor’s last two films -- Katamarayudu and Sardaar Gabbar Singh -- were duds at the box office. The titled film, popularly dubbed as PSPK25, will feature Pawan Kalyan as a software engineer. It is expected to be a romantic entertainer made in Trivikram’s brand of style and presentation. The film will feature two leading ladies -- Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel -- who are currently the toast of the town.

Jr NTR has had a successful run at the box office. Films like Jai Lava Kusa, Janatha Garage and Temper have all hit the bull’s eye. Jr NTR’s stint as the host of Bigg Boss Telugu too has come up for much praise.
