Kamal Haasan revealed as soldier-turned-espionage agent in Vishwaroopam 2’s new trailer

Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2 is slated to release on August 10.

Vishwaroopam 2 is set for an impressive release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on August 10 and the second trailer from the film tells the audience who Wisam Ahmad Kashmiri is and why a soldier goes deep undercover in the film. The government sets him up to be a ‘wanted terrorist in Indian, but a revered terrorist in Pakistan’ so as to be able to infiltrate the Al Qaeda.

In the present, Wisam is frustrated and he tells that if politicians were to do what they were paid for, terrorism wouldn’t be the biggest fear that our country is faced with today. We also see Andrea’s fiery avatar as an Indian agent in the film. Rahul Bose also features in this trailer.

The interesting part of the trailer is how the song “Yaarendru Therigiradha” plays in the background when Nirupama asks Wisam “Who are you?” Vishwaroopam 2 is directed, written and produced by Kamal Haasan. Speaking about the film, the actor said, “This is a prequel and a sequel. The root of his (Wisam Ahmad Kashmiri, protagonist of Vishwaroopam) patriotism is shown in this film.”
