Kirik Party’s Rakshit Shetty, Rashmika Mandanna dating. Is marriage on cards?

Media circles have been buzzing for a while about their supposed romance. Now, Kirik Party lead pair Rakshit Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna have decided to take their relationship to the next level.

Rakshit Shetty, the breakout star of Kannada cinema, made heads turn with films such as Ulidavaru Kandanthe, Ricky and the latest sensation Kirik Party. On Tuesday, he admitted that he has been dating actor Rashmika Mandanna, his co-star from his recent outing Kirik Party for a while now. With the news of seeing each other doing the rounds, it has also been learnt that the couple of got their families consent to get married.

Talking to a popular media channel on the occasion of his 34th birthday on Tuesday, Rakshit said, “After my relationship with Rashmika started making headlines in the media, I decided to talk to her parents. So the media paved the way to take our relationship to the next level.”

It has also been confirmed that the pair will officially get engaged on July 3, but the wedding will take time. On Tuesday, Rashmika’s birthday wish to Rakshit made things even more evident and Rakshit’s fans haven’t been happier. “Happiest birthday to one of the most humble human beings I’ve ever met. People love you even without you trying and my parents are a few of those people. Welcome to the small family of ours,” she wrote on her Facebook page. The couple recently celebrated 150 days run of Kirik Party in cinemas and they looked very happy at the event.
