After a lacklustre response to his last couple of films like LIE and Chal Mohan Ranga, actor Nithiin is gearing up for his next Srinivasa Kalyanam where he will appear as an architect.
Directed by Satish Vegnesa, well known for his film Shathamanam Bhavathi, the film’s crew is currently in Chandigarh for a shooting schedule. “Nithiin is playing an architect in the film, so they found some good spots in Chandigarh to shoot for it. There are a few key scenes being shot here,” said a source to Deccan Chronicle.
Srinivasa Kalyanam is a Dil Raju production and also stars Raashi Khanna. Satish’s Shathamanam Bhavathi is in news for winning a National Award for the best popular film providing wholesome entertainment category. Hence, the expectations for Srinivasa Kalyanam are high too.
The newspaper quoting a source goes on to say that while Shathamanam Bhavathi was about family bonding, the upcoming film will have a typical Telugu marriage added to it.
Nithiin’s last release Chal Mohan Ranga opened to mixed reviews. The film was a joint production venture of Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas and was directed by Krishna Chaitanya of Rowdy Fellow fame. Chal Mohan Ranga had music by SS Thaman, and featured an ensemble cast including Rao Ramesh, Naresh, Lissy, Sanjay Swaroop, Pragathi, Neeraja Kona and Srinivasa Reddy among others.
