Prabhas’ upcoming film, the highly anticipated Saaho, has completed the first schedule of its shooting. Actor Shraddha shared the information on Twitter with a tweet. She wrote: “1st schedule wrap on #SAAHO Bittersweet feelings.Have had an amazing time shooting with a fabulous team. Felt so at home in #Hyderabad.”
Saaho, directed by Sujeeth Reddy, is the next film that Prabhas signed after Baahubali franchise. He did not sign any films during the time he was associated with Baahubali. In an attempt to make the Telugu/Hindi bilingual truly pan-Indian, the makers of the film have taken extra pains to ensure the film has faces that will appeal across the length and breadth of India. They chose Bollywood actors Shraddha Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh to play the female lead and the antagonist respectively. The film also has Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey and Mandira Bedi.
There was a lot of talk of the film’s makers repeating Baahubali’s hit pair -- Prabhas and Anushka Shetty -- in Saaho. The two have worked in five films together and share an amazing onscreen chemistry. The duo are rumoured to be a real-life couple too. However, it was later confirmed that Anushka would not be a part of the team as she had already committed herself to a big budget Tamil film.

{{/usCountry}}In September, when Shraddha visited Hyderabad for the first schedule of the shoot, the team and Prabhas surprised her with a lavish south Indian spread. Fans soon posted it on Instagram. Later, it was Shraddha’s turn to return the courtesy -- she came for the first day of shoot having seen all of Prabhas’ earlier films. The duo have also mutually decided to help each other with the languages they are not comfortable in.
