Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is back with yet another project and this time it’s a biopic on legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. The film has been titled Lakshmi’s NTR and its first look poster was released on Tuesday on Varma’s Facebook page. Sharing the poster, he wrote: “One single step that created love in the heart of one man but also hatred in hundreds. But that single step also re-motivated him to once again make millions of people love him. This is the story of Lakshmi’s NTR. It’s a love story full of hatred, jealousy, power mongering, backstabbing and above all unbelievable inter-relationship conflicts.”

The film is expected to release by the end of 2018.
The film is expected to release by the end of 2018.

Talking about the design of the poster, he wrote that it focuses on a dejected and lost looking NTR’s face juxtaposed with the high brightness on Lakshmi’s (widow of NTR) feet entering into his life. In July, Varma had expressed his desire to make a biopic on NTR. However, he has now decided to make the biopic from the perspective of NTR’s widow Lakshmi Parvathi, and hence, has titled the film Lakshmi’s NTR. Varma confirmed that the project will hit the screens by next year-end.
