Ram Charan and Vivek Oberoi to share screen space in Boyapati Srinu directorial?

If the industry grapevine is anything to go by, Vivegam actor Vivek Oberoi might have landed a crucial role in Ram Charan’s next untitled project with director Boyapati Srinu. After playing the antagonist in Ajith’s Vivegam earlier this year, it turns out Vivek’s work has impressed a few southern filmmakers who are keen to rope him in. It’s not yet known if he will play the baddie, but it’ll be really interesting to see him take up another interesting role.

Vivek is well known among Telugu audiences thanks to his association with Ram Gopal Varma, with whom he has worked in some really good films. Their last outing was Rakht Charitra, about the rise and fall of factionist-turned-politician Paritala Ravi. “The makers have approached Vivek, but it’s still unknown whether he’s signed on the dotted line,” a source told Hindustan Times.

The project is expected to roll early next year as soon as Ram Charan wraps up Rangasthalam, which is gearing up for release on March 29. This project will be bankrolled by DVV Danayya and will have music by SS Thaman. The female lead is yet to be finalised and the makers are apparently in talks with Kajal Aggarwal. It has also been confirmed that Ramya Krishnan will essay a pivotal role in the movie.
