Women would rather have men help them with household chores than take them away on a romantic weekend getaway, a new UK survey has revealed.
The survey, by appliance maker Delonghi, revealed that women spend 5,472 hours of their lives bent over the ironing board.

"This shows that quite a lot of women still think that men don’t pull their weight at home," The Daily Express quoted Cary Cooper, a professor at the University of Lancaster, as saying.
“Many women are still working the double shift, doing the household chores and also having a career, whereas men still have a working role primarily,” Cooper added.
