  FIFA World Cup 2022: Uruguay had best chances!

  South Korea and Uruguay started their World Cup campaigns with a 0-0 draw in Al Rayyan. Veteran defender Diego Godin hit the post in the first half while Real Madrid star Federico Valverde was denied by the woodwork in the 89th minute. Both teams have shared a point each in their World Cup 2022 opener at Qatar. Uruguay will next meet Ronaldo's Portugal in Group H.
