India's Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi bowed out of the ATP World Tour Masters in Indian Wells, losing their first round matches with their partners.
Fourth seeds Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi of Belarus went down to Russian Igor Andreev and Evgeny Korolev of Kazakhstan 4-6, 4-6 on Sunday.
