Is Micah Parsons injured? Green Bay linebackers' damning sacking stat spark concerns

Packers LB Micah Parsons had zero sacks vs. Bengals, sparking injury concerns after trainers examined his right hand during the second quarter.

Green Bay Packers' new linebacker Micah Parsons had a bad day at work in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Lambeau Field on Monday. Deep into the 3rd quarter, he had zero sacks in the game, sparking concerns among the fans about whether the former Dallas Cowboys star was injured.

While there is no official update on Micah Parsons having any injury, the Packers fans have reasons to worry. Cameron Ezeir of WFRV Sports reported that at the end of the second quarter, the head trainer of the Green Bay Packers was checking out the right hand of Micah Parsons. Ezeir also shared a video showing Parsons clenching his right hand while talking to trainers on the sidelines.

Though he played on, it was not quite what viewers are used to from the All-Pro linebacker. Here's the video of Parsons clenching his fist on the sideline that was shared by Ezeir.

Deep into the third quarter, Micah Parsons had only two assist tackles with his name, with no solo tackles or sacks to go with it. It was, undoubtedly, one of the worst performances by Parsons in Packers colors.

Is Micah Parsons Injured?

Micah Parsons, who joined the Green Bay Packers from the Dallas Cowboys after a dramatic salary battle with the Cowboys' owner, Jerry Jones. In the 2025 regular season, he has played four games for the Packers, amassing eight tackles to go with 2.5 sacks. He was listed as active for the Week 6 game against the Bengals.

Though he played through the rest of the game against the Bengals, despite reports of a possible injury to his hand, the Packers did not say that he was injured during the game's broadcast. It is not clear if the 26-year-old played through an injury.

Packers Dominate Bengals Despite Micah Parsons' Injury Concerns

The Packers dominated the Bengals with a strong offensive performance despite the poor performance of Micah Parsons. While Micah Parsons struggled, Green Bay had a 17-10 lead over the Bengals halfway through the 4th quarter.

Jordan Love completed 17 of 23 passing attempts for 208 yards, while Josh Jacobs made 16 carries for 85 yards with two TDs. Meanwhile, kicker Lucas Havrisik scored two field goals for five points.
