The National League edged out the American League 4-3 in a home run swing-off after the teams were tied 6-6 through nine innings in the 95th MLB All-Star Game at Truist Park in Atlanta.

The NL exploded with a 6-0 lead thanks to long balls from Pete Alonso and Corbin Carroll. But the American League wasn’t going down quietly; they mounted a furious comeback in the final three innings, capped off by Steven Kwan’s clutch RBI that tied the game in the ninth.

With no extra innings, the game headed to a swing-off, and that’s where Kyle Schwarber, the Phillies' powerhouse, smashed three home runs in the contest, lifting the NL past the AL in the bonus round and sealing the win. His performance earned him the All-Star Game MVP honor, making him just the second player in Phillies history to receive the award.
