Made In India air purifier can ‘deactivate’ Covid-19 in a minute?

The air purifier has been developed by Delhi-based startup AiRTH jointly at IIT Kanpur and IIT Bombay. On Twitter, IIT Kanpur said, "Having been tested at CSIR-IMTECH, it has proven to be able to deactivate SARS-CoV-2 virus with an efficacy of 99.9% within just 1 minute".
