Toyota India alerts authorities of possible customer data breach

Toyota India said it has notified the relevant Indian authorities of the data breach at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, a joint venture with Indian conglomerate Kirloskar Group.

Uber probing cyberattack on vendor site, over 70,000 employees' data compromised

More than 77,000 Uber employees’ email addresses and other data, including alleged source code associated with mobile device management platforms used by Uber and Uber Eats, have been leaked as part of the recent hack.

Australia's Telstra suffers privacy breach, 1.3 lakh customers affected

The errant disclosure from Australia's Telstra comes after the company in October suffered what it called a small data breach, attributing it to third-party intrusion that exposed some employee data back to 2017.

Bengaluru NGO accused of stealing voters info, BBMP cancels permissions

The BBMP has cancelled permissions given to an NGO after it was uncovered that it was collected personal information from a horde of voters.
