Delhi traffic police undergoes major overhaul

To ensure the smooth flow of traffic in the national capital, a city that is often held hostage by snarls and congestion on its arterial stretches during peak hours, the Delhi traffic police is being overhauled to make its functioning and structuring similar to that of the Delhi Police, which itself has seen some major reforms after the incumbent police commissioner Rakesh Asthana took over charge in July

Heavy rain, waterlogging hit traffic movement in Delhi

The Delhi Traffic Police in its latest advisory said that the MB road in Delhi has been closed due to the waterlogging at Pulprahladpur underpass and suggested alternate routes for commuters.

Nod for dynamic parking norms around Metro stations, multilevel lots in Delhi

Under the policy, which was notified on September 21, buildings near Metro stations and multilevel parking lots will now have 10-30% less parking space than what is allowed under the current policy

Rain plays havoc with Delhi traffic; cops, civic agencies caught unprepared
