Naidu, who went to New Delhi on Tuesday evening, met Shah around 10pm and apprised him of the financial crisis in the state due to the alleged lopsided policies of the previous YSR Congress party government.
The package was sanctioned and released in favour of the displaced persons so that they can be provided some financial support for their rehabilitation by the government.
The three-day protest is underway at 17 places in Punjab, including Moga, Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Tarn Taran, Sangrur, Patiala, Ferozepur, Bathinda, and Amritsar.
