CIA failed to protect agency’s top-secret hacking tools, leading to historic data loss: Report

The report describes the spring 2016 theft as the largest data loss in agency history — compromising at least 180 gigabytes to as much as 34 terabytes of information, or the equivalent of 11.6 million to 2.2 billion pages in Microsoft Word.

Gurugram private company alleges hacking and fraud attempt

The police have registered a case against the suspects under sections 419, 420 , 511 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 66 and 66C of the Information Technology Amendment Act at the cyber crime police station on Friday.

Two students from Nashik booked by cyber cell for hacking into SPPU website

On April 28, the second year BSC linear algebra paper was reported to have been leaked from the Nashik center of the university. Following the investigation by a committee appointed by vice-chancellor Nitin Karmalkar and headed by VB Gaikwad, two engineering students were found to be guilty of hacking the website and leaking the question papers.
