Only 4 states have more than 50,000 Covid-19 case, says health ministry

India’s Covid-19 tally surged to 4,930,236 on Tuesday after 83,809 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union health ministry. The country’s death toll now stands at 80,776.

With record 97,570 new Covid-19 cases, India’s tally goes past 4.6 million

India has been reporting more than 95,000 cases of the coronavirus disease daily for three days now. The number of deaths due to Covid-19 has been over 1,000 almost every day since the beginning of September.

Over 77,000 Covid-19 recorded cases for the first time, tally goes up to 3.38 million

India’s Covid-19 tally over 3.2 million, recovery rate rises to 76.29%

The death toll due to the viral disease has gone up to 59,449 and the number of active Covid-19 cases is 707,267, according to the health ministry dashboard at 8am.
