1 address used for 3,825 Covid tests at Kumbh: Officials

The address entered in the official records is ‘Nepali Farm, on Haridwar-Dehradun-Rishikesh highway’ and lies in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun district, just 11 kms away from Har-Ki-Pauri ghat, one of the principal sites of the Kumbh.

HC pulls up Uttarakhand on Covid-19 deaths data

Uttarakhand has so far reported over 3.39 lakh Covid cases and 7,068 deaths. Of these deaths, 978 were ‘backlog’ deaths or deaths that were reported late by hospitals.

U’khand fake testing: Firms get temporary relief

The court directed representatives from Max Corporate Services, a Noida-based private agency, to appear before an investigating officer on Friday and cooperate in the ongoing probe into alleged fake Covid testing during the Mahakumbh.

Positivity rates at 2 private labs 450 times lower than average during Kumbh

The data also showed that apart from the two facilities – Delhi-based Lalchandani Labs and Hisar-based Nalwa Labs – named in the FIR last week, a number of other private labs also reported very low positivity rates.

Over 1,700 test positive for Covid-19 in Kumbh Mela over 5-day period

Medical workers conducted 2,36,751 tests over the five-day period in the mela site. Out of these, 1,701 came out positive for coronavirus.
