J&K cop injured in Srinagar encounter succumbs to injuries on Independence Day
Constable Sarfaraz Ahmad was evacuated from the encounter scene that happened on Sunday and taken to a hospital for treatment. During the anti-terrorist operation, a militant from the LeT was also injured.
