Foundation stone of cancer research and treatment centre laid in Prayagraj

Lucknow, East UP to get 2 multi-specialty hospitals

Two multi-specialty hospitals with 400-bed capacity each are set to be built in Lucknow and on the Varanasi-Mirzapur border, following investments promised at the Uttar Pradesh Investors? Summit in February. The state government has vowed to ensure the process is not delayed, and healthcare providers have called for a single-window clearance system to speed up the approvals process. Medanta and Apollo are among the chains that already operate in the state.

PGIMER Chandigarh introduces robot-assisted kidney transplantation
