According to sources, most of the home buyers have voted in favour of NBCC, while some lenders including IDBI and IIFCL supported the resolution plan of NBCC. Final voting result is yet to be declared.

Jaypee Infra homebuyers’ body urge flat owners, lenders to vote for NBCC bid

To acquire Jaypee Infratech, NBCC competitor Suraksha realty in its latest bid is offering more land and upfront payment to lenders to Rs 190 crore from Rs 175 crore offered in its revised offered submitted on December 3. Suraksha Realty has also improved land-debt swap deal to 2,320 acres from 2,220 acres.

NBCC took over the project in July on the SC orders after homebuyers petitioned it following the Amrapali Group’s failure to deliver around 30,000 flats in 15 projects. The promoters of the Group were jailed, and the court receiver is controlling the firm.
