12 hospitalised in Delhi after bus coming from Agra rams roadside tree

All of those hospitalised are out of danger. The bus has been seized for inspection. Police are also checking CCTV footages.

List of Delhi’s 77 containment zones to check Covid-19 pandemic

Earlier in the day, after 26 members of a family in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday, the area was declared as a containment zone, pushing up the tally of the total number of hot spots in Delhi.

Delhi Police put out 69 photos of suspects in Jamia violence, seek help

The police said that these people “actively participated” in the riots and asked the general public to share their identities. The police has also offered reward for any information about the suspects.

As protest returns outside Jamia, students ensure peace, cops keep safe distance

As an ambulance tried to make its way through many protesters on the road outside Jamia Millia Islamia on Monday afternoon, a young boy mouthing abuses picked up a piece of brick from the road and rushed in the crowd. The act was immediately noticed by a student protester who snatched the brick from his hand and reprimanded him before chasing him away.

Three armed men loot New Friends Colony medical store of 1.2L

Police suspect the three were the same gunmen who were caught on CCTV camera robbing a businessman and his wife at gunpoint inside their Model Town house on Sunday morning. An SDMC official said renovation work is still going on at Delhi’s New Friends Colony market and will take another six months to complete. “There is a detailed project, costing Rs 1.5 crore for beautification of the whole market and to make it disabled-friendly,” the official said.
