Now dedicated vocational training too for girls in government secondary schools

In the first phase, a total of 42,440 girls enrolled in classes 9 to 12 in government-run secondary schools of the state would be trained as part of this new initiative.

42 Kushal Yuva centres temporarily suspended after detection of discrepancies

According to officials aware of the development, the action against the 42 centres came recently after an inspection was carried out at the centres across the state.

From 2016 to March 2023, a total of 19.36 lakh youths enrolled in the Kushal Yuva centres of which 14 lakh youths got certificate of training. (HT Photo)
