18-year-old woman found dead in Delhi’s Tahirpur

The matter was reported around noon when Nand Nagri police station received a call informing them about the murder. The police team that reached the spot found the woman’s body in the house.

450-bed Covid Care Centre to start in new Burari hospital

With the rising number of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in the city, the Delhi government has decided to start a 450-bed Covid Care Centre at its newly constructed hospital in Burari to cater to those with mild symptoms. The hospital is yet to open.

Patparganj hospital closed for 3 days after TB specialist doctor tests positive

The doctor was a Tuberculosis specialist and is said to have attended to dozens of patients in the last two weeks. He is now admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital in Tahirpur.
At least 55 doctors, nurses and staff who work with the infected doctor have been quarantined.

Two women injured while resisting snatchers in East Delhi

EDMC immunises over 5,000 girls for HPV, cervical cancer

Under the civic body’s immunisation programme, over 26,000 eligible girl students between the ages 10-14 were identified in 2017. Twenty percent of them have been administered the HPV vaccine so far.

78-year-old woman, grandson die after their car is crushed between two buses in northeast Delhi

The accident took place around 11:30am on the Durgapuri-Tahirpur Road roundabout in northeast Delhi. It took half­ a ­dozen cops and locals over 30 minutes to take the two occupants out of the mangled car.
