Pakistan mosque blast: Death toll mounts over 70, 150 wounded

At least 70 people were killed and more than 150 wounded in a bomb blast at a mosque in a security compound in northwestern Pakistan, officials said. It was the nation’s worst such attack in almost 11 months.

Militant attacks rise in Pakistan after Taliban offensive in Afghanistan: report

Attacks in Pakistan attained their highest spike in August 2021. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan are heavily affected due to these militant activities. 

This research, conducted by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Study (PICSS), said that the highest number of attacks in a single month in 2021 was recorded in August when 45 attacks were carried out by militants.(AFP)

Taliban attacks security outpost near Dahandara Dam in Afghanistan

Two guards were killed and another got wounded during the attack on the water dam, Khaama Press reported, quoting Nizam Khpolwak, spokesman for the National Water Affairs Regulation Authority.
