BMW turns turtle on Akbar Road, driver unhurt

The injured woman driver was reportedly rushed to a hospital by her friends, who were accompanying her in another car. The woman was discharged after first aid, a senior police officer said.

PM Modi also attacked the Congress over its record of governance in Madhya Pradesh in a short span of just a few months and also made a reference to recent tax raids in Delhi, which he has been terming as the “Tughlaq Road election scam”.

‘If Modi makes mistakes, raid his house too’: PM on oppn criticism

In his speech, the PM referred to the recent raids at the homes of chief minister Kamal Nath’s aides in Madhya Pradesh, raids which he referred to as the ‘Tughlaq Road election scam’, to launch a salvo at the Congress.

He said that the money that had been recovered in the Madhya Pradesh raids at Kamal Nath’s aide’s houses was meant to be used in Rahul Gandhi’s electoral campaign.(REUTERS)

I-T raids at Galla aide’s house, 45 Lakh cash seized

The I-T raid on the Guntur house of Gurrappa Naidu, the chief accountant of Amara Raja Batteries, owned by Galla, comes close on the heels of raids conducted from Sunday on close aides of Madhya Pradesh chief minister and Congress leader Kamal Nath.

Several opposition leaders have alleged that the I-T raids are being conducted at the behest of the BJP. Congress leader Ahmed Patel on Tuesday said that the raids showed the “desperation” in the ruling party.
