A cult attraction when France’s Disneyland Paris theme park opened in 1992, Star Tours has been revamped for the park’s 25th anniversary. Here’s a look at the mission awaiting visitors to Disneyland Paris from March 26.
Visitors step onboard a Starspeeder 1000 for a 3D trip to a galaxy far, far away, taking in the planets Jakku, Naboo, Hoth and Tatooine on a new intergalactic mission to the heart of the Star Wars universe. This month, the Star Tours attraction is set to reawaken with a new experience offering more than 70 different mission combinations for a unique flight every time.
The adventure, its setting and scenes have been totally reworked for the occasion. “Star Wars” fans will even be able to snap a picture of themselves alongside Darth Vader before getting in line.
Thrill-seekers will soon be able to enjoy a rebooted Space Mountain, set to be unveiled early in May, now also with a Star Wars theme. Space Mountain will become “Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain,” taking passengers on an immersive high-speed adventure with lighting, projections and music from the famous movie franchise.
