Forgetting headphones at home can be frustrating, particularly when a workday involves calls, meetings or simply the need to focus. A Bengaluru-based techie working at Google recently found herself in exactly that situation, only to discover that one of the company’s office perks had her covered.

Diksha Aggarwal shared a video on Instagram documenting the moment she realised she had left her headphones behind. What initially appeared to be a stressful start to the day quickly turned into a glimpse of an employee perk at Google’s office.

“Today is the worst day ever because I left my headphones at home and I am at the office,” Aggarwal says at the beginning of the clip.
Explaining why the missing headphones were such a problem, she adds, “Mujhe kaam karna hai, par headphones to chahiye.” The Hindi sentence translates to, “I need to work, but I need headphones.”

“I was almost about to panic, but when I remembered we are at Google's office, let's get me some headphones,” she says.
The video then shows her walking towards a vending machine inside the office. She selects a pair of headphones on the machine and receives them within moments. The text overlaid on the clip reads: “Perks at Google.”
The simple workplace convenience caught the attention of social media users, many of whom appeared impressed by the facility available to employees.
