This year, maybe I’ll go for a a silver chain instead, since I don’t own a single one.

Vivian Dsena: I will buy gold biscuits this Dhanteras. Gold is considered lucky and gives me a positive feeling too, so this is something I do every year. I also look at it as a form of investment. It’s not just about money but the emotions attached to what I buy on this auspicious occasion.

Hunar Hale : This is going to be my first Dhanteras after my wedding. We have made a huge investment in our house in Mumbai in terms of setting it up, but as a ritual, I plan to buy two silver coins this year and hope to continue doing that every year.
