Emotional Atyachaar season 4 is quite different from its earlier seasons. The crew no longer conducts investigations. This season, the reality show shows real-life investigations and betrayal re-created on screen.
On the episode to be aired on February 2 evening, Kanchan eloped from her house in Delhi to go to Mumbai and stay with her boyfriend of one and a half years. What started off as a promising alliance turned into a sticky situation in less than two years of courtship.
Kanchan first met Shakti on a long train journey. The two of them hit it off instantly and went on to become friends. Friendship soon turned into love. For a while it remained a long distance relationship. The two of them kept in touch through phone calls, text messages and Skype chats. But when Kanchan’s father learnt of her relationship, he didn’t approve and wanted her to call off the relationship.
To escape her father’s wrath, Kanchan ran away from home. She went to Mumbai to live with boyfriend Shakti and that’s when things changed for the worse! Shakti would yell at her, insult her and even beat her up on a few occasions. Initially, Kanchan was clueless with the sudden change in his behaviour but she soon found out that he had not one, but multiple girlfriends and was involved in the racket of selling MMS clips of the girls he’s involved with.
