Over the last two weeks since the show has been on air, she has been nominated twice over. But dacoit Seema Parihar continues her stint in
Bigg Boss 4
on Colors, emerging as one of the strongest contestants in the show. “I’ve stayed in a jungle for over 18 years. This House doesn’t scare me at all. For me, it’s almost like having a new family here,” says Parihar.
She entered the house without a strategy in place to win the contest. “Surviving a contest like this is not difficult because the people are civilized and all one has to do is live inside a house with cameras tracking every movement of yours. I lived in a jungle without any preparation.
We would be attacked by our opponents and the police at any hour of the day. Survival was difficult then. I didn’t feel the need for a strategy,” says Parihar, who wrote and directed
Wounded
, a film based on her own life.
“I wanted the world to know what I had been through. Someone helped me write the film because I didn’t know how the medium functions. Wounded was my story. I had been abducted by a group of dacoits. Eventually, I became one of them. Despite all of that, today I have a family life, kids and a husband. Everyone has accepted me,” she says.

Parihar has served three years and three months in jail. She had to seek court permission to appear on the show through petitions. “I wanted to be on this show. Someone approached me when I was still in jail. I liked the concept and agreed,” says Parihar. “I don’t know if I will win, but I know that people will know who I really am.”
