Jaishree Venkataraman, Seema Pandey and more: Meet the new cast of Hum Paanch Phir Se

Jaishree Venkataraman will play Kajal bhai while Seema Pandey is likely to essay the role of Beena in the new season of popular comedy series, Hum Paanch Phir Se. Vidya Balan was part of the show in the 90s.

We informed you earlier in May that the popular comedy show of 90s, Hum Paanch, is all set to comeback for a new season soon. Big Magic, which plans to air Hum Paanch Fir Se, said it will be a new cast and we now have few names who have joined the show.

TV actor Jaishree Venkataraman shared a picture and wrote, “Back to school”. Going by her looks, she is likely to play Kajal bhai in the sitcom.

Seema Pandey has been roped in to play Beena (as you can see in the picture below).

According to media reports, Sooraj Thapar is likely to play the role of Anand Mathur while Vaishnavi Macdonalds will play his first wife, Priya.

The show’s production house is Essel Vision Pvt Ltd. The exact date of airing the show is yet to be finalised.

Hum Paanch was first aired in 1995 and ran until 1999. The series returned for a second season in 2005 and ran until mid-2006. It starred Vidya Balan, Shoma Anand, Rakhee Tandon, Bhairavi Raichura and Vandana Pathak.
