“Bigg Boss is a very popular show and having been part of it, I know more about it now. The experience inside the house has been an interesting one. Now, when I am out, I would love to do TV shows. I enjoyed watching Geet, Madhubala and Kaali. Shows that highlight women empowerment, interests me. I have grown up watching TV and have always dreamt of being a part of it. Bigg Boss had been in a way a stepping stone towards that,” says the Zoology graduate.

However, Jyoti was hopeful that she would be saved this time and her co-contestant Luv Tyagi would get eliminated because of his poor performance. “Not just me, everyone thought that either Luv or Benafsha [Soonawalla] would be eliminated. And that is the reason why I am surprised about my elimination. Nevertheless, I had a wonderful time inside the house and my mother is happy that I could survive so long,” says Jyoti. She further adds that she can see Vikas Gupta, Hina Khan and Shilpa Shinde making it to the top three slots of the show, which is hosted by Salman Khan.

While a part of the show, photos of Jyoti smoking with Arshi Khan and Shilpa went viral. Ask her about it and she replies, “I don’t smoke. We were just trying to fool everyone by faking it. It was a prank.”
