Malini Kapoor to play Ekta Kapoor

First it was Kamya Punjabi, followed by Rakhi Vijan and then it was Juhi Parmar’s turn to spoof Ekta Kapoor. Just add Malini Kapoor’s name to that list as she’s all set to spoof the soap queen in the SAB show Gunwale dulhaniyan le jayenge.

Malini is playing a cameo for about for 3-4 episodes. Her character is called Kekta Kapoor. Fed up with my soaps, Daddyji’s (Sudhir Pandey) family kidnaps me. However, what they don’t realise is how costly this proves for them. Just like her soaps, Kekta creates divisions among the family. At last she gets exposed, but she’s surprised that instead of gunning her down, they teach her lessons on how a good family co-exists unlike the ones in her soaps.

A family from the underworld will be teaching others good values. Though they represent the underworld but they use guns in the outer world. At home, they are like any normal family. Malini is expected to make her entry next week.
