Actor Meghna Malik, who is better known as the Ammaji of TV soap, Na Aana Is Des Laado, will soon show her dancing skills on celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

For the promo of the same, she stepped out of her stereotyped roles and dressed in a short blue sequenced skirt.

Talking about her transformation, Meghna says, “For me playing Ammaji’s character was an adventurous journey and so when Jhalak was offered, it looked like the beginning of another adventure. I have been acting for 15 years now, so as an actor it started to feel like still waters. Jhalak’s journey seems like the ripple effect and I’m very excited. The promo shoot was quite an experience... I’m ready to put myself out of my comfort zone and enter this alien territory.”
