Thrilled to be part of the new show on Colors, Karan says, “I was offered IGT season one but I couldn’t be part of it then as I was filming. I love IGT and have always watched it. Some of the stories on the show are very heartening, when

participants fight unfortunate circumstances to pursue their passion. I am proud to be an Indian being on this show.”

Karan debuted on TV in 2004 as the host on his celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan. The series was a runaway success and made him a household name. Ask him if TV provides a platform for an instant audience connect, and Karan replies, “I was hosting award shows before I did TV. But I can’t deny that being on TV every week adds to your brand value. I love hosting Koffee With Karan, and judging Jhalak. I wouldn’t be on TV for the sake of it. Money is always a factor but never the driving force. I love being before the camera.”
