Sonarika Bhadoria ditches TV, plans to move to Bollywood

"You are creatively satisfied while working on a film. You shoot for 15-20 hours on TV and that takes a toll on your health, mental state and social life. There’s always a rush to complete the shoot. I have got some experience on TV and now I think I should do something new," says actor Sonarika.

Sonarika Bhadoria has been busy meeting and talking to people lately. The actor was recently replaced in the popular mythological show, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev.

But instead of trying for a role on another TV show, she wants to focus on movies instead. That’s why, perhaps, she turned down a plum role on a historical show. She says, "I got an offer from the makers of the new show on Buddha. I was approached for the lead role, but I politely declined. I only want to concentrate on movies right now."



Sonarika feels that every TV actor eventually wants a career in the film industry.

Ask if she is still hurt about being replaced on the show, and she says, “Lots has been said. Let bygones be bygones. I don’t want to talk about it anymore."
