Tanuja misses Tanishaa on her birthday

The senior actor says she will celebrate the day once her younger daughter is back from the reality show that she is currently participating in.

On Monday, September 23, veteran actor Tanuja turned 70. And although she had her elder daughter, Kajol, and other family members for company, she missed the presence of her younger child, Tanishaa. The actor is currently part of the reality show, Bigg Boss, and apparently, this is the first time that the Neal ‘N’ Nikki (2005) actor missed out on her mother’s birthday.


Before Tanishaa entered the reality show, she was apparently quite excited to plan something special for her mother on her 70th birthday. “But she has taken up a challenge for her mom by deciding to enter the house. Although the entire family missed her, they will plan something special once she is back,” says an insider close to the family.

When asked about her daughter’s absence on the occasion, Tanuja says with a smile,“I definitely missed Tanishaa, since she gets
the most excited about my birthday celebrations. I am going to celebrate it in a big way once she comes back.”

Before Tanishaa made her entry into the Bigg Boss house, her family’s support of her decision to participate was questioned. However, her elder sister Kajol seems to be positive about her sibling’s choice. “Being on a reality show is always a challenge. But I am sure she is more than up for it,” says Kajol.
