But, the new television show which features couples having sex in a sound-proof and opaque box in a studio, wasn't appreciated by many as they flocked to Twitter to share their bemusement.

One of the viewers wrote: "Sex box is the weirdest thing ever but I want to watch it forever".

Another tweet said: the show is very "awkward".
