Assam Flood Update: JP Nadda Reviews Damage in Assam With Helicopter Survey

Union Health Minister JP Nadda conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas in Assam to assess the extent of the damage caused by heavy rainfall and overflowing rivers. The survey comes as several districts continue to grapple with flooding, affecting thousands of residents and disrupting normal life. During the visit, Nadda reviewed the flood situation and assessed the impact on infrastructure, healthcare facilities and relief operations. The Centre has assured all possible assistance to the Assam government as rescue, rehabilitation and relief efforts continue in the affected regions.
