Battleground Jharkhand: Tight security in Latehar ahead of polls

Security has been tightened in Latehar ahead of Jharkhand Assembly elections. Latehar is one of the 13 constituencies that will vote in the first phase of polls. All 13 constituencies fall under Naxal-infested area. Latehar district has two assembly constituencies - Manika and Latehar. Jharkhand assembly polls will be held in five phases starting November 30. The counting of votes for all 81 constituencies is scheduled on December 23.
