Delhi: Cheaper electricity, unemployment pay among Congress manifesto vows

Indian National Congress party released its manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections in Delhi. It focused on issues like electricity, education and employment in the document. Congress promised to give an unemployment allowance to jobless graduates and postgraduates. It also guaranteed cheaper electricity if voted to power. The party's Delhi unit chief, Subhash Chopra, also promised free education for girls till the PhD level. He also said that the party planned to spend Rs 35,000 on work at unauthorised colonies in the national capital.
