Sridevi’s death: Dubai Police close case, body to reach India tonight

The mortal remains of Bollywood actor Sridevi are expected to reach India late on February 27 after Dubai Public Prosecutors Office closed the investigation into her death and cited the forensic report to say she had accidentally drowned following loss of consciousness. Her family received her body from the authorities and it was expected to reach Mumbai by late evening. The body was to be repatriated on Monday but there was a delay in submission of post mortem and toxicology reports. Sridevi's funeral is expected to take place in Mumbai on February 28.
